Sometimes I find myself out of touch with the Dharma. When I am I always come back to one particular teaching from Lama Marut which I have found to be a very powerful teaching, What if God was one of us? This teaching reminds me that the Dharma can come in all forms, just as an enlightened being can come in all forms. Most people go through their day looking for someone else to make them happy or buying the latest iPod to make them happy, but this is never going to work. In-fact that is the point behind consumer capitalism. In the end I think it is best described by the following quote:
“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
Albert Einstein (1879-1955)

If we want to become enlightened ourselves we must see everything as a miracle, a teaching. Try thinking about someone you know as an enlightened being and everything they do or say as a form of teaching. As you do this ask yourself, “What are they trying to teach me from this?” Using this strategy I have seen some incredible teachings in my life and I wish the same for you all! Don’t forget to check out Lama Marut’s teaching below.

Well done! Absorbing! Great Link!
