Lama Sumati Marut is one of my personal Heart Lamas. In this video excerpt from one of his many teachings, Lama Marut speaks about the idea of Karmic Suicide. As he says, “We can all have enough of everything.” However, we always feel we deserve more. The idea of Karmic Suicide is to sacrifice your immediate self interest so that we do not deny others the same opportunity. In-fact it is reinvesting one’s karma so others may benefit. This teaching is a quick 4 min but is a skill we should all practice in our own lives.
