There was a man who worked very hard: hard enough to earn the amount of money to own a beautiful, custom, gold necklace. When he first wore it, passers- by would stop to admire his beautiful necklace. In time, his friends went on to purchase their own necklaces and eventually gave up admiring his. To this day, the same man works very hard to afford a matching bracelet. Simultaneously, another man works just as hard, but not for a pay check. In the mind of this second man, everything is already gold. The trees are gold, the mountains are gold and all the living things are especially precious. In his mind’s eye, even the worms are made of the highest quality of gold . He admires their many laudable qualities and lives in a state of awe and gratitude.
